1. What is Andrew AI?

Andrew AI is an AI-powered accountancy document processing software platform that helps authorised accountants at Andrew & Co organise and process client documents, extract information from invoices, bank statements, receipts and payroll documents, and sync relevant working papers to Google Drive and Google Sheets.

2. User Information We Process

We process the profile details (such as names and emails) of registered accountants and whitelisted practice team members. We also store client names and client accounting documents (e.g. PDFs of statements and invoices) uploaded by authorised users for the purpose of professional accounting reviews.

3. Google Integration and Infrastructure

Andrew AI integrates with Google Drive and Google Sheets backend-to-backend using a secure Google Service Account. The platform does not request or access personal Google user accounts via end-user OAuth consent screens.

Google Drive usage: We programmatically create specific client directory structures on the backend to organise and archive accounting files.

Google Sheets usage:We write and update working paper spreadsheets (such as posting categorised bank transactions, journals, and sales/purchase invoice logs) to compile client P&L workbooks.

Google API usage is strictly limited to the automated compilation and management of accounting spreadsheets as requested by the authorised accountant. We do not use Google data for advertising, profiling, or transfer it to any third parties.

4. Limited Use Compliance Statement

Andrew AI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Data Protection & Security

We implement industry-standard database encryption, secure HTTPS transmission channels, and access controls to prevent data loss or unauthorised access. We do not sell or share any user or accounting data to external third parties.

6. Revocation & Deletion requests

Users can revoke access at any time through their Google Account settings. To request deletion of account details or whitelisted emails within Andrew AI, contact us at privacy@andrew-ai.co.uk.
